Aluta Continua means "the struggle continues" in Portuguese, a popular slogan for the FRELIMO movement (Frente de Libertação de Moçambique - Mozambique Liberation Front) during Mozambique's war for independence from Portugal. The struggle for the total emancipation of Africa and her people continues today, and so does the Revolution. This collection pays homage to our forbears, the many great thinkers and warriors who sacrificed all for the sake of the Motherland and her global diaspora. Their legacy lives on.
